On Valentine's Day, we had torrential downpours so our going out to dinner plans got thwarted. We simply put them off until Sunday and found our dinner to be much more relaxed and peaceful than if we had went ahead and battled the Valentine's day diner crowd. After leaving the restaurant, we stopped to score some sugar free Valentine's candy at half price. In this case, the "day late and a dollar short" saying didn't apply~we added a few dollars by waiting just one day. Oh, the difference a day can make!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and taking the time to leave me a note.
Thanks for visiting my blog! I agree, your apron is too pretty to cook in. I scrolled down your blog - your mom is an amazing artist!
Thanks ladies, I love the little see through aprons but you're right, I wouldn't cook in them. Definitely cooking & cleaning in my more utilitarian aprons though!
LOL sorry - well I can't help there either because the walls were already painted that sagey green color. We were painting the white trim in those pics and the walls are getting painted a different color later this week.
Thanks for stopping by my Shabby Cottage, I love having visitors! Have a wonderful week. Esther
